You’ll need ground chicken, fresh Thai basil leaves, garlic, Thai bird’s eye chillies (adjust the spiciness to your liking), fish sauce, oyster sauce, and a bit of sugar. Simply stir-fry the chicken with garlic and chillies, then add the sauces and basil leaves. Serve it with steamed jasmine rice and a fried egg for an authentic touch. From these four easy Thai recipes with chicken, this one is probably the easiest for a beginner.

2. Chicken Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao Gai ผัดขี้เมาไก่):

Chicken Drunken Noodles are a spicy and savoury Thai stir-fry dish that packs a punch of flavour. You’ll need chicken, wide rice noodles, garlic, Thai bird’s eye chillies (adjust the heat to your preference), bell peppers, Thai basil leaves, and a sauce made from soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a touch of sugar. Sauté the chicken and vegetables, add the cooked noodles and toss everything together in the flavorful sauce. It’s a delightful dish with a hint of heat and plenty of umami.

3. Chicken Green Curry (Gaeng Kiew Whan Gai แกงเขียวหวานไก่):

Green Curry Chicken is a fragrant and mildly spicy Thai dish that’s easy to prepare. You’ll need chicken, green curry paste, coconut milk, bamboo shoots, Thai eggplants, and Thai basil leaves. Sauté the green curry paste, add the chicken, and then pour in the coconut milk. Let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through and tender. Add the vegetables and basil leaves for a burst of colour and flavour. Serve it over steamed jasmine rice for a delicious and aromatic meal

4. Chicken Ginger Stir-Fry (Gai Pad Ging ไก่ผัดขิง):

For a zesty and aromatic Thai stir-fry, try Chicken Ginger Stir-Fry. You’ll need chicken breast or thigh meat, fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a touch of sugar.
