This privacy policy explains how Taste of Thailand ("we", "our", "us") — tasteofthailand.co.uk — collects, uses and protects your personal data. We are a small family-run Thai catering business based in Dorset, and we take your privacy seriously.
Who we are
Taste of Thailand is run by Manaow Prasatthong, 3rd-generation Thai chef. For questions about this policy, contact us via the contact page or by phone on 07512 042763.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us:
- Contact form submissions — your name, email address and message, processed securely by Formspree so we can reply to your enquiry.
- Standard web analytics and server logs — your IP address and browser details are processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and by Google advertising/analytics services for security and to understand how the site is used.
We do not require an account to use this site, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
How we use your data
- To respond to catering enquiries and bookings.
- To keep the site secure and working correctly.
- To display advertisements (see below).
Advertising and cookies
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-3540254334873866). Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, including personalised advertising. You can manage or disable personalised advertising at Google's Ad Settings, or disable cookies in your browser settings.
AI training opt-out
We do not license this website's content for AI training. Our robots.txt, llms.txt and response headers all carry an ai-train=no signal so that AI crawlers may index our pages but must not use them to train models. If an AI provider does not respect this signal, you can still rely on this statement as our policy.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Formspree — contact form processing.
- Google AdSense — advertising.
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting and content delivery.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
